Minister Leitch congratulates parties on ratifying a new agreement for employees at Toronto Pearson International Airport

Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated Servisair Inc. and Teamsters Local 419 on ratifying a collective agreement for members working at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The new collective agreement assures a continuation of service for both the travelling public and commercial cargo operations critical to our economy and that of Canada’s trading partners.
The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program’s Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, which provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the Canada Labour Code.
