Federal government announces support for the Fêtes du Lac William
July 21, 2014 – Saint-Ferdinand, Québec – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development, Minister for La Francophonie and Member of Parliament (Mégantic–L’Érable), announced $5,800 in funding for the 27th Fêtes du Lac William, which took place July 17 to 20, 2014, at the Saint-Ferdinand marina. Minister Paradis made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
This funding, provided by the Government of Canada through the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage Program, helped bring residents of Saint-Ferdinand and visitors to the area together to enjoy a variety of family-oriented activities.
