Government of Canada supports the Orientalys Festival
August 7, 2014 – Montréal – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $30,000 in funding for the fourth Orientalys Festival. The event will take place in the Old Port of Montréal from August 29 to September 1, 2014.
This funding, provided by the Government of Canada under the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program, will help promote awareness of the arts and culture of Arab countries.
