Park will add eight new sites

Thanks to support from the federal and provincial governments, the Town of Bouctouche can proceed with its plans to expand the municipality’s industrial park.
Senator Rose-May Poirier, on behalf of the Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for New Brunswick and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), and the Honourable Claude Williams, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, joined Town of Bouctouche officials to make the announcement today.
The Government of Canada, through ACOA’s Innovative Communities Fund, is investing $400,000 in this project, while the Province of New Brunswick is also contributing $400,000. The Town of Bouctouche is providing $451,666.
The project involves the expansion of the Bouctouche Industrial Park to increase its capacity by eight sites. Work will involve site preparation and the extension of sewage and lighting services as well as the continuation of Industrial Street by approximately 800 metres.
