Government of Canada announces funding to the Historic Sherbrooke Village Development Society

The Government of Canada has provided the Historic Sherbrooke Village Development Society with $7,300 in funding under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to present the 18th edition of the Sherbrooke Village Old Fashioned Christmas.
The two-weekend festival will feature performances by local musicians, demonstrations by local artisans, craft workshops, family and children’s activities, and a historical tour of the village.
The Honourable Peter MacKay, Regional Minister for Nova Scotia, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
