Ottawa residents and visitors will soon enjoy access to a modern new venue for experiencing Francophone theatre. Construction has now started on La Nouvelle Scène; a state-of-the-art theatre in the heart of the nation's capital.
La Nouvelle Scène was formed in 1999 by four local theatre companies who will soon call the facility home. The new centre will not only allow local artists to perform in a modern environment, it will also serve as a gathering place for Francophones and Francophiles of the National Capital Region.
