The Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Public Works and Government Services, announced today the re-appointment of James Paul as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Defence Construction Canada (DCC), effective September 8, 2014.
Mr. Paul has been serving as DCC’s President and CEO since September 2009. His career has spanned over 30 years and includes executive management roles in large Canadian technology firms. Prior to his appointment with DCC, he was president of an international technology company, and served as Chair of the Canada Science and Technology Museum Corporation’s Board of Directors. He is an Ontario lawyer and has earned a law degree from the University of Ottawa after obtaining a degree in commerce from Carleton University.
DCC is a Crown corporation that provides innovative and cost-effective construction contract management, infrastructure and environmental services for Canada’s defence requirements. It has two primary clients: the Department of National Defence and the Communications Security Establishment Canada.
