Today, Royal Military College Saint-Jean announced that official authority for the Non-Commissioned Members Professional Development Division would be transferred from Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School to its command.
The purpose of this transfer of authority is to optimize the use of existing resources, increase the academic rigour of the programming and take full advantage of existing academic expertise at Royal Military College Saint-Jean. On this same occasion, the Non-Commissioned Members Professional Development Division was renamed the Chief Warrant Officer Osside Profession of Arms Institute; Chief Warrant Officer Osside was first to hold the position of Canadian Forces Chief Warrant Officer.
