Ottawa, Ontario - 29 August 2014
Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced the appointments of Mr. Hugh Segal and Mr. Rick Waugh as co-chairs of his Advisory Committee on the Public Service.

The main objective of the Committee is to help ensure that the federal Public Service remains strong and dynamic, and is able to efficiently and effectively carry out its mission to serve Canadians.
The Prime Minister also expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Peter MacKinnon, who has been acting chair of the Committee since May, 2014.
