Athletics Canada receives Government of Canada funding to host the 2014 NACAC U23 Championships in Kamloops
August 8, 2014 – Kamloops, British Columbia – Department of Canadian Heritage
Cathy McLeod, Member of Parliament (Kamloops–Thompson–Cariboo), on behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), today announced $200,000 in funding for Athletics Canada. This funding, provided through Sport Canada’s Hosting Program, supports the hosting of the 2014 North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Athletics Association U23 Championships.
The eighth edition of the NACAC U23 Championships is being held from August 8 to 10, 2014, in Kamloops, British Columbia.
