GATINEAU, Quebec, August 25, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of a lane reduction on the Timiskaming Dam (Ontario side) from August 26 to 30, 2014, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day.
This lane reduction is necessary to perform maintenance on the dam.
This work will cause the closure of the eastbound lane (from Thorne to Témiscaming) and traffic will be alternated by traffic control personnel.
Motorists and pedestrians should expect brief delays.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
PWGSC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
