GATINEAU, Quebec, September 19, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of the following bridge closures on Sunday, September 21, 2014:
- Chaudière Crossing—closed to vehicles from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Alexandra Bridge—closed to vehicles from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
These bridge closures are necessary to allow the Canada Army Run to take place. Traffic will be controlled by the Ottawa and Gatineau police services.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be allowed to use the sidewalks and boardwalk. Cyclists may be asked to walk their bicycle.
