Government of Canada supports the St. George Applefest
September 19, 2014 – St. George, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing $6,200 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 30th edition of the St. George Applefest. The festival celebrates the rural cultural heritage of Brant County through community-oriented programming.
Phil McColeman, Member of Parliament (Brant), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
