Member of Parliament Joan Crockett announces support for the Beakerhead Creative Society

The Beakerhead Creative Society will receive $86,000 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to present the 2nd edition of the Beakerhead Festival.
Activities on offer will include temporary installations, exhibits of large-scale interactive art pieces and community collaborative art projects, as well as theatrical, dance and musical performances.
Joan Crockatt, Member of Parliament (Calgary Centre), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
