MP Ben Lobb announces support for the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre

Ben Lobb, Member of Parliament for Huron–Bruce, on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, today announced Government of Canada support for the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre’s Great War Centenary Project.
As a historical exhibit to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War, the Great War Centenary Project, will include a variety of components, reaching out to adults, youth and Veterans to generate awareness and educate its visitors about Canada’s contributions during the Great War.
These initiatives are taking place during Canada’s World Wars Commemoration period, which coincides with the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War and the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Second World War. The Government of Canada is committed to honouring all Canadian men and women who bravely served our country during these wars.
