Government of Canada supports renovation of building

The Government of Canada has provided $15,000 to the Tweed & Area Arts Council under the Legacy Fund of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the renovation of the Actinolite United Church.
Daryl Kramp, Member of Parliament (Prince Edward–Hastings), announced the funding today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Funding will support the final renovations needed to fully transform the building into the Marble Arts Centre.
