GATINEAU, Quebec, October 2, 2014 — Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of changes to the Alexandra Bridge lane closure schedule. Closures previously announced are no longer required.
As part of the second phase of the work, the Ottawa-bound lane of the Alexandra Bridge will be closed during the following periods:
- Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5, 2014, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Monday, October 6, and Tuesday, October 7, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The lane closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
The maintenance schedule may be affected by weather conditions and other factors. All efforts will be made to inform the public of changes to the schedule.
