Marie-France Pelletier has been appointed Chief Administrator with the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC), effective Monday, October 27, 2014.
Prior to her appointment, Mme. Pelletier served as a board member and Executive Vice-Chairperson of the Parole Board of Canada. She was first appointed to the board as a full-time member for the Quebec region in 2008, and reappointed in 2009 as the Executive Vice-Chairperson. Mme. Pelletier was previously a senior advisor responsible for providing strategic advice to federal and provincial governments.
Mme. Pelletier has senior level government and management experience, ranging from Deputy Minister in the Government of New Brunswick to Senior Policy Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Premier. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Principal and Vice Chancellor at McGill University.
A graduate of the Université de Moncton, Mme. Pelletier completed her Bachelor of Arts with a major in French and a minor in English in 1990, and a Bachelor of Laws in 1993. She was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1994.
