MP Erin O’Toole announces support for new exhibit: The Great Wars─Clarington Remembers

Erin O’Toole, Member of Parliament for Durham, today announced Government of Canada funding for a new exhibit showcasing the achievements and honouring the sacrifices of Clarington men and women who served during the First and Second World Wars. Mr. O’Toole made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs.
Presented by the Clarington Museum and Archives, The Great Wars─Clarington Remembers will share stories of the significant contributions the residents of Clarington made to the World Wars, at home and abroad. This exhibition will preserve local heritage through programming designed to engage families, the public, and up to 3,000 youth in remembrance.
