On October 19, 2014, an inmate at the Regional Treatment Centre in Collins Bay Institution died at the local hospital in Kingston.
At the time of his death, Mr. William Lotocki, 79 years old, had been serving a life sentence for Murder since January 16th, 1967.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
