On October 8, 2014, Neil Mombourquette, an inmate at the Regional Treatment Centre died at the regional hospital in Bath.
At the time of his death, Mr. Mombourquette, 71 years old, had been serving a sentence of eight years, for Sexual Assault since October 1, 2009.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
