Minister of State (Finance) Kevin Sorenson and Canada’s Financial Literacy Leader Jane Rooney will release the country’s first financial literacy strategy for seniors on Thursday, October 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Community Financial Counselling Services, 294 Portage Ave, 5th floor, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In Economic Action Plan 2013, the Government identified seniors as a priority group and committed to implementing a financial literacy strategy that specifically responds to seniors’ needs.
