Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz announced today the reappointment of Jason Skinner to the board of directors of Farm Credit Canada (FCC). Mr. Skinner’s appointment is for a three-year term effective March 12, 2015. Biographical notes are attached.

Jason Skinner of Saskatchewan has served as a director with FCC since 2009. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of North West Terminal Ltd., a farmer-shareholder owned grain company headquartered in Saskatchewan, which he's led since 1999. Mr. Skinner's work experience includes working for the Canadian Wheat Board in various roles, including Marketing Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Skinner is a member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists, and also serves as a director of Alliance Grain Terminal Ltd. in Vancouver, British Columbia and the Inland Terminal Association of Canada. Mr. Skinner holds a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics, a B.S.A. in Agricultural Economics and a diploma in Crop Production Management, all from the University of Saskatchewan.
