Badminton Canada receives Government of Canada funding to host the Pan American Badminton Championships
October 15, 2014 – Markham, Ontario – Canadian Heritage
Paul Calandra, Member of Parliament (Oak Ridges–Markham), on behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), today announced $20,000 in funding to Badminton Canada. This funding, provided through Sport Canada’s Hosting Program, supports the 2014 Pan American Badminton Championships, which are being held at the Atos Markham Pan Am / Parapan Am Centre in Markham from October 13 to 19, 2014.
