Member of Parliament Robert Goguen announces funding for commemorative project

Robert Goguen, Member of Parliament for Moncton–Riverview–Dieppe, today announced Government of Canada support for the Harrison Trimble High School’s seventh annual commemorative Hangar Dance in Moncton. MP Goguen made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs.
Staff and students at Harrison Trimble High School decorated the Mark Street Lion’s Club to resemble an airplane hangar and hosted a 1940s-style dance for local seniors. During the event, students met and mingled with Veterans and senior members of the community to learn more about their wartime experiences overseas and in Canada.
