November 19, 2014 - The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, will host a moderated panel at York Street Public School entitled Removing Barriers and Promoting Protection in and Around School at an event organized by the International Child Protection Network of Canada to commemorate Universal Children’s Day and the 25th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The panel will bring together experts and youth ambassadors in an interactive discussion to engage youth on issues that affect them and their peers.
Minister Paradis will also announce Canadian support to help end violence against children.
