Government of Canada commends Target Canada for providing service men and women with meaningful employment

On behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Royal Galipeau, Member of Parliament for Ottawa–Orléans, today at a roundtable organized by Target Canada, reinforced the Government of Canada’s commitment to helping Veterans and Canadian Armed Forces personnel find meaningful employment once their time in uniform is complete.
At the roundtable, Target Canada highlighted the company’s dedication to providing Veterans with career opportunities through Canada Company’s Military Employment Transition Program. MP Galipeau had the opportunity to hear firsthand from Veterans and Canadian Armed Forces personnel who have successfully started new careers at Target Canada thanks to the employment program.
