12:35 - Her Royal Highness and Vice Admiral Laurence participate in the Official Welcome to Canada Ceremony at Government House (Rideau Hall).
The welcome features full military honours, including a 21-gun salute and the breaking of Her Royal Highness’s Canadian Flag. Her Royal Highness inspects the Guard of Honour mounted by a composite guard of Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces.

17:35 - On the eve of Remembrance Day, Her Royal Highness and Vice Admiral Laurence meet with this year’s Silver Cross Mother. The National Memorial Silver Cross Mother is chosen annually by The Royal Canadian Legion to represent the mothers of Canada at the National Remembrance Day Ceremony.

10:00 - Her Royal Highness and Vice Admiral Laurence meet with members of the Royal Canadian Hussars. This is the first meeting with the regiment since The Princess Royal became Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment. Her Royal Highness is presented with the third clasp of the Canadian Forces Decoration by His Excellency the Governor General.
11:00 - Her Royal Highness and Vice Admiral Laurence participate in the Official Remembrance Day Ceremony.

13:25 - Her Royal Highness meets with members of the Canadian chapter of Save the Children at the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health. Her Royal Highness is provided with an overview of Aboriginal youth issues and meets volunteers and participants. The Princess Royal has served as the president of Save the Children since 1970.
14:20 - Her Royal Highness meets with children, parents and volunteers of the Ottawa Inuit Children’s Centre. Children drum and sing songs in Inuktitut for The Princess Royal.
14:40 - Vice Admiral Laurence tours the Battlefield of Crylser’s Farm in Morrisburg, where he will view displays, meet children in period uniforms, observe historical re-enactors, and discuss the battle with representatives of the Aboriginal community and participating regiments. The Vice Admiral will lay a wreath to honour the fallen and fire a cannon.
The Battle of Crysler’s Farm—fought on November 11, 1813—was a key battle that saw Aboriginal, Canadian and British forces work together to repel a large invading American army and win the field, despite being outnumbered. The victory at Crysler’s Farm turned the tide of the war.
15:30 - Her Royal Highness meets with the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association at Wesley Clover Parks. The Association uses riding to empower children and adults with disabilities. Her Royal Highness, an expert horsewoman and Olympian, is patron of the organization.
17:15 - Her Royal Highness meets with members of L’Arche. Founded by Jean Vanier, the organization provides programming and housing for Canadians with developmental disabilities. L’Arche is marking its 50th anniversary in 2014.
