A Canadian soldier died on November 21, 2014 of wounds resulting from injuries after an incident yesterday in Garrison Petawawa, Ontario. At the time of the incident, he was on a training program with The Royal Canadian Dragoons and belonged to 2 Service Battalion.
The name of the deceased soldier is Craftsman Kyle Sinclair of 2 Service Battalion, based in Garrison Petawawa, Ontario.
The loss of any soldier is devastating to the military community and our condolences go out to the family and friends of Craftsman Sinclair.
As the incident is currently under investigation by the Canadian Forces National Investigative Service, it would be inappropriate to provide further information regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident at this time.
