December 12, 2014 - Victoria, British Columbia - Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture
  The governments of Canada and British Columbia have invested more than $4.3 million to support business development, innovation, food safety, and sustainability in B.C.'s agriculture sector, Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz and B.C. Agriculture Minister Norm Letnick announced today.
  The projects received funding between January 1 and June 31, 2014, under the Growing Forward 2 Agreement and include farming and food processing organizations, post-secondary institutions, and private businesses.
  Growing Forward 2 is a five-year agreement launched in 2013 that provides a $3-billion, federal-provincial-territorial government investment in innovation, competitiveness and market development.
