OTTAWA – The first Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) medical contingent leaves Canada tomorrow to begin training in the United Kingdom prior to its West African deployment in support of global efforts to help prevent the spread of the Ebola virus.
The following senior CAF leadership will be present to send off the task force:
- Lieutenant-General David Millar, Chief of Military Personnel
- Brigadier-General Jean-Robert Bernier, Canadian Forces Surgeon General
