On November 29, 2014, Jocelyn Hotte, an inmate at the Federal Training Center, died at the Regional Health Center in Ste-Anne des Plaines.
At the time of his death, Mr. Hotte, 55 years old, had been serving a life sentence since December 17, 2002 for First Degree Murder and Attempted Murder.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
