Ottawa – The Honourable Tony Clement, President of the Treasury Board, made the following statement:
“With Christmas and Chanukah just around the corner, I am pleased to remind federal employees that they may decorate their workspaces for the festive season.
This joyous season brings out merry and bright memories for many as we gather to celebrate the past year. It is the perfect occasion to be reminded of the great privilege it is to live in Canada and all the freedoms this country enjoys.
I welcome all federal employees to bring out ‘the presents, the ribbons, the wrappings, the tags, the tinsel, the trimming and the trappings,’Footnote 1 and contribute to the spirit of this special season.”
