Building Canada Fund; Research and Planning component

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, and Pierre Moreau, Minister of the Quebec Department of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy, are proud to confirm $6 million in funding for the Centre for Expertise and Research on Infrastructure in Urban Areas (CERIU) to chart municipal water infrastructure.
This financial support is being provided through the Research and Planning component of the federal Building Canada Fund and the Government of Quebec's contribution. The Research and Planning component supports third-party research projects on municipal infrastructure such as city roads, engineering works, underground and climate change infrastructure, urban technical networks, information technology, and asset management.
