Projects possible thanks to federal Gas Tax Fund

Families, residents and visitors of Innisfil can now enjoy smoother rides throughout the Town, thanks to contributions from the federal Gas Tax Fund. Numerous road surfaces were upgraded from gravel to asphalt and existing asphalt was resurfaced to provide safe and serviceable roadways to more than 30,000 commuters.
Improvements were made to the following roads, increasing their functional lifespan while providing a safer and smoother commute for motorists:
- Margs Lane (Robert's to Florence)
- Merrett Street (Park to Robert's)
- Lilac Drive (Innisfil Beach Road to Central)
- Willard Avenue (Lebanon to Leslie)
- 10th Line/20th Sideroad Intersection
- 30th Sideroad (Big Bay Point to Lakeside)
- Fleming Boulevard (Summer Place to Mapleview)
- 20th Sideroad (Big Bay Point to Longwood)
- Cove Avenue (Mapleview to Aspen)
- Mason Drive (Henderson to Lockhart)
- Sandy Cove Drive (Henderson to Lockhart)
- 6th Line (St. John's to Houston)
- Alfred Street (May to Little Cedar)
- Little Cedar Avenue (Alfred to 348m north of Albert)
- Leonard Street (Burton to Chestnut)
- Somers Boulevard (Jane to 9th Line)
- Robinson Street (Goldie to Ewart)
- Arnold Street (Ewart to Lake)
- Hamilton Street (King to Cook)
- Commerce Park Drive* (Commerce Gate to Forest Valley Drive)
- Commerce Park Drive* (Forest Valley Drive to end of road)
[*]NOTE: Project started in 2014, will be completed in spring 2015.
