OTTAWA — Media are invited to link into the satellite broadcast of the North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) Change of Command ceremony tomorrow, in which U.S. Navy Admiral Bill Gortney will assume command of NORAD from U.S. Army General Charles Jacoby.
The Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C. M.P. for Niagara Falls, Minister of National Defence and Canada’s Chief of the Defence Staff, General Tom Lawson, will address attendees as U.S. Army General Charles Jacoby enters retirement and U.S. Navy Admiral Bill Gortney assumes command of NORAD.

What: U.S. Navy Admiral Bill Gortney will assume command of NORAD from U.S. Army General Charles Jacoby, who will retire following 36 years of service.
