Government of Canada provides support for two commemorative projects

The City of Moncton is receiving a total of $568,900 in funding for two projects under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program (BCAH).
Robert Goguen, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament (Moncton–Riverview–Dieppe), announced the funding today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Funding of $500,000 is being provided through BCAH’s Legacy Fund component for the Downing Plaza Legacy Project. The Moncton125 Festival is receiving $68,900 through BCAH’s Community Anniversaries component.
