On January 18, 2015, Atu Dolo, an inmate at Collins Bay Institution died at Kingston General Hospital.
At the time of his death, Mr. Atu Dolo, 52 years old, had been serving a sentence of 3 years and 9 days for Possession of a schedule I/II substance for the purpose of trafficking since April 14, 2014.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
