Investing in the Performing Arts in Brockville

The Government of Canada supports the Brockville Concert Association

January 13, 2015 – Brockville, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $20,000 over two years through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to support the 2015 and 2016 Fall Classical Series and the 1000 Islands Jazz & Blues Festival, which are presented by the Brockville Concert Association (BCA).

The announcement was made today by Gord Brown, Member of Parliament (Leeds–Grenville) on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

Quick Facts

The Brockville Concert Association presents jazz and classical music concerts in the Brockville area.
The 1000 Island Jazz & Blues Festival runs in May and June.
The BCA is run entirely by volunteers.
