Government of Canada supports growth of Thetford Mines enterprise
January 9, 2015 – Thetford Mines, Quebec – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Christian Paradis, Member of Parliament for Mégantic—L’Érable and Minister of International Development and of La Francophonie, announces that RAD Technologies Inc. has been granted financial assistance to increase its productivity and develop new markets.
This support has been awarded in the form of an $800,000 repayable financial contribution through the Canadian Initiative for the Economic Diversification of Communities Reliant on Chrysotile.
