Government of Canada provides funding to Capital Arts Support

Capital Arts Support has hosted another winter-themed festival in Fredericton, featuring a wide range of live performances to warm the hearts of music lovers.
The Honourable Keith Ashfield, Member of Parliament (Fredericton), today announced funding of $11,500 for Capital Arts Support under Canadian Heritage’s Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program. He made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The 5th Shivering Songs Festival took place in Fredericton from January 22 to 25, with musical performances by local artists, songwriting workshops, storytelling and literary events. These activities presented the work of 54 local artists, artisans and heritage performers for music fans of all ages.
