Hockey Canada receives funding to host the 2015 World Sledge Hockey Challenge in Leduc, Alberta

On behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), the Honourable Mike Lake, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry and Member of Parliament (Edmonton–Mill Woods–Beaumont), attended the 2015 World Sledge Hockey Challenge and took part in the medal ceremony.

This event is one of over 60 international sport events being hosted in Canada during a very busy Year of Sport in Canada, during which we celebrate sport, our athletes and the role they play in helping to define our cultural identity from coast to coast to coast.”
