At approximately 10:30 p.m. on February 11, 2015, inmate Michael Douglas Sheets was apprehended by the Victoria Police Department.
This inmate had been unlawfully at large from William Head Institution, a minimum-security federal institution, since February 10, 2015.
CSC is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Ensuring the safety and security of institutions, staff, and public remains the highest priority in the operations of the federal correctional system.
