The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, announced today the appointment of Ms. Lauraine Gagnon from Saint-Félicien, Quebec, to the Board of Directors of the Saguenay Port Authority, for a term of three years, effective May 31, 2015.
Ms. Gagnon has worked at the St-Félicien Zoo, the Centre for Conservation of Boreal Biodiversity for over 30 years and has been the Director General since 2007. In the past, she held several positions including Customer Service Manager and Marketing Manager.
She has been on the Board of Directors for the Association touristique régionale du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean since 2012 and a member of its intra-Québec promotion committee since 1999. She has also been a member of the CLD Domaine-du-Roy tourist site since 2006.
Ms. Gagnon has received a great deal of professional training in management, customer service, marketing and communications.
