The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, today announced the appointment of Ms. Bonny Lynn Skene of Dryden, Ontario, to the board of directors of the Thunder Bay Port Authority for a term of three years.
Ms. Skene has been a regional public affairs manager at Domtar Inc. since 2007. Before joining Domtar she worked for Weyerhaeuser Company Limited. While there, she worked as Public Affairs Manager (2004 to 2007), as Manager of Organizational Effectiveness (1999 to 2004), and as Information Technology Manager (1996 to 1999).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Dakota, United States on a full scholarship.
