Ottawa – On Wednesday, 4 March 2015, the Bank of Canada will announce its decision on the target for the overnight rate. A press release will provide a brief explanation of the decision.

Lock-Up

At 09:00 (ET), journalists are invited to review the press release under embargo at the Bank’s head office in Ottawa. The embargo will be lifted at 10:00 (ET). Please use the entrance at 151 O’Connor Street and have your press card with you.

For security reasons, journalists wishing to attend must be accredited with the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery and must confirm their presence by calling Media Relations at 613 782-8782 before noon (ET) on Tuesday, 3 March 2015. Journalists who have not registered WILL NOT BE ADMITTED to the lock-up.
