“Canada strongly condemns the despicable attack targeting new year celebrations in Hassakeh, Syria. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed or injured in the attack.
“Canada remains deeply concerned by the suffering of the Syrian people and stands in solidarity with those who support peace and democracy in Syria.”
