SIDNEY, British Columbia — Media are invited to join Senator Nancy Greene Raine to attend a medal ceremony for the Canadian Coast Guard crew of icebreaker CCGS Sir Wilfrid Laurier. The medals will be given to 22 crew members from the Victoria-based Canadian Coast Guard ship involved in the successful 2014 expedition.
Senator Greene Raine will deliver remarks. Media can also meet with Captain Bill Noon of the 2014 expedition.
Media are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for sign-in.
