March 16, 2015 – Montréal, Quebec – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that C2 Montréal has been granted funding for its fourth global business conference on commerce and creativity taking place from May 26 to 28, 2015.
This financial assistance has been granted in the form of a $750,000 non-repayable contribution through CED’s Quebec Economic Development Program.
“C2 exists thanks to the conviction of many people, organizations and companies that, from the very outset, helped bring to life the idea of a business event of an entirely different design. Every year since then, C2 has grown, reinvented itself and contributed in a direct and concrete way to the economic development of Quebec and of its businesses. The federal government is one of these stakeholders who believed in the idea, watched the concept emerge and have continued to back it. We are happy to be able to count on the ongoing support of the Government of Canada.”
