The multipurpose centre, which is expected to officially open to the public in June, is a new two-floor, 3,800 square-metre facility that includes a double gymnasium, locker rooms, multipurpose rooms, administrative offices, a parking lot and outdoor landscaping.
Our support for this project demonstrates our Government’s unprecedented and historic investment in infrastructure to ensure Canada’s future economic growth. Since 2006, the Government of Canada has provided significant support for both new infrastructure in Quebec and enhancing existing assets, generating thousands of new jobs and improving the well-being of Quebecers and their families. This infrastructure support will generate benefits and long-term prosperity for the province and its citizens.
